all of mike bayne's paintings (yes, paintings) remind me of my childhood.
small american towns in the 80s. parking lots, vinyl siding
and sad little stores buzzing with fluorescent lights.
the nostalgia is strong with his work, at least for me.

these are not clown entrails, good guess though.
these are sections of a map of the mississippi.
each color represents a previous flow of the river.
it's amazing it's changed so much, i had no idea.
created by harold fisk in 1944.
